KAMALA HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL
SHRINAGAR, SIWAN (BIHAR)
This college was established by 1977 in the name of Indian
Institute of Homoeopathic Sciences It got affiliation with
university of Bihar in I 980 and since then it is imparting
training in various courses of homoeopathy. Now this college
is known in the name of Mangala Kamala Homoeopathic Medical
College and Hospital.
Professor Bishnu Kumar Sinha and his wife Smt. Kamala Kumari
Sinha who were founder president and secretary respectively
were donors. They donated a beautiful and spacious
multistoried building and about 2.5 acres of land for the
college, which is situated in the District town of Siwan and
on the river's side. The president and the secretary have
also donated rupees one lakh cash.
Siwan in easily approachable by road and by train and the
nearest airport is Panta, which is about 120 kms.
By train it is situated on the lucknow-Barauni via-Gorakhpur
(B.G.) N.E. Railway line and is about :-
i. 900 kms from Delhi.
ii. 480 kms from Lucknow.
iii. 125 kms from Gorakhpur
iv. 140 krns from Patna
By road it is easily approachable by the direct bus service
from Koikatta, Patna, MuzafFarpur, Gorakhpur and is about
400 kms from the royal capital of Nepal-Kathmandu.
Siwan is district Head quarters in the North Bihar and is a
beautiful city having one and half Lac population
Season :-
It is plain area and temperature reaches 5-6°C in winter and
40-45° in summer. |
